Com o anúncio da reabertura das fronteiras para brasileiros totalmente vacinados a partir de novembro, a ParkSleepFly fez um estudo que elege os destinos mais caros e baratos nos Estados Unidos. O estudo, que analisou as maiores cidades do país para descobrir quais eram as mais acessíveis, com base em fatores como comida e bebida, custo de hotel e transporte, concluiu que Oklahoma City é o destino mais acessível para visitar nos EUA.
A cidade foi a mais barata em metade dos fatores analisados, com cerveja a US$ 3, US$ 11,50 por uma refeição em um restaurante, US$ 106 por diária e US$ 1,65 por cada quilômetro percorrido no táxi.
Como um dos destinos turísticos mais populares não apenas nos Estados Unidos, mas no mundo, Nova York é o destino de férias mais caro dos Estados Unidos, enquanto o vizinho Brooklyn ocupa o 4º lugar. Nova York foi a cidade mais cara em quatro das seis métricas analisadas: uma cerveja (US$ 7,81), uma garrafa de vinho (US$ 15), refeição em restaurante (US$ 20), diária em hotel (US$ 309).
